oc'd ma 3000+ barton and getting temps of 49c is this normal? this is at idle but doesn't seem to go up much during gaming. Only oc'd it by bout 200mhz. Thanks

Thats pretty high for idle, but then its damn hot at the moment and 49c is nothing to worry about. As long as load isn't going into the 60s your well away.

Thanks mate, is there anyway to unlock the multiplier on the 3000+ and whats the highest the 3000s can be clocked to?

No way to unlock the multi if its not already unlocked iirc, all of the later AMD 32bit chips were "superlocked". You should get around 2.4Ghz ish out of a half decent Barton, though you'll prob be limited by you temps.
