Hello guys

i have been overclocking my AMD 6000+ x2 3.0Ghz CPU this week.

so far ive got it running at 3.3Ghz stable, tested using prime 95.

i can get it to 3.45Ghz and it boots into windows fine but sometimes crashes and i get teh BSOD :(

Under load i get max tempts of 58C on core 0 and core 1 is a lot cooler at around 51-52C

i was just wondering if this crashing is caused by heat or is it just the limitations of the CPU?

Core Speed - 3.3Ghz
Multiplier - x 15.0
Bus Speed 220.Mhz
HT Link 1100.0 Mhz
increased CPU voltage from 1.2v to 1.5v

also increase ram voltage from 1.8 to 2.0

Computer specs
M2n sli deluxe
AMD 6000+ x2 CPU
8800 GTX
4GB Geil ULL ram

im also using a ThermalTake V1 CPU Cooler, ive heard mixed reviews about these. If i purchase a better cooler will i notice dramatic temp reductions?

i normally raise them by 0.02v at a time and then test for stability, slow but best as raising any voltage by too much can cause problems.
