Hi all just ordered my new pc and plan to OC the chip to 3-3.5GHz
~New PC specs~
E5200
Gigabyte P45 DS3
Ocz 4gb
powercolor 512mb 4850
and
as i have never overclocked before i thought i would mess around with it on my current PC, so i have more experience with my new one.
~Current PC specs~
Celeron D 2.53GHz
1.5gb generic RAM
I have downloaded CPU-Z
stats are:
Core V:1.328-1.318V
Core speed:2528.6GHz
Multiplier:x19.0
Bus speed:133.1MHz
Rated FSB:532.3MHz
Now my understanding is that if i increase the bus speed that will raise the clock speed? and if it's unstable then i raise the voltage?
What shall i try with this that will increase my knowledge and not stress my old system to much?
Am i missing other important issues?
