Presume the core temps shown are with 100% load? Your not going to get much more out of that CPU without better cooling, maybe 3.4Ghz if the vcore can stay the same with overclock remaining stable.

I have an extremely similar setup in terms of CPU/mobo. Running atm at 3.2 aswell, don't see the point in pushing it much further, may aswell get a newer CPU then. There were little gains from the overclock anyway. Mine doesnt go beyond 60 deg C, but idles around 38, so i'm getting some better case fans soon, I feel the ambient temp in the case must be high, since I can't put my antec fans on more than low without the noise being annoying.

@ jamjar - the setting he has can be seen to be 400mhz with a multiplier of 8. This would let you run 800mhz ram with a neat multiplier of 2, so at stock speed. This is what I have too.

okay thanks , what is the fsb set at ?

thanks , i have a E6600 with a P5K Deluxe m/b what sort of settings would you recommend for this ? similar to this one ?

It's going to depend on what's stable really. Crank it up 10mhz at a time (you may be able to go straight to 3ghz if you have a decent chip and cooler) and boot. When you're happy with the overclock, run prime95 (2 threads) for 8hrs and monitor temps. Below 60 is good.
