first pc build check spec

With that hexcore CPU you won't need to go bulldozer. Therefore the AM3+ board is a big waste of money.

I would also lean to Intel sandybridge if I were to build now.

What is the resolution you are aiming for and screen size. Also you will need an OS

Ive always been involved with amd circles so intel is new to me.

Is this the Intel chip your on about RJC?

Will they both run on this board with them being 2gb

Thanks

the asrosk that rjc suggested only does x8/x8 but from what I've read it doesn't make a huge difference, if you want x16/x16 you need a mb that the nf200 controller(need to check specs. they will both run fine, it doesn't matter if they're 1gb, 2gb, 3gb etc.

this defo does(tho if you get it beware the free fingerprint ;) ), others like the asus maximus extreme4 etc all in the £200+ price range.

Thanks I did like the look of the extreme7 board and that's one more reason. There's not many videos out there at the minute though, would be nice to see an unboxing. I dont mind paying extra as long as it will last me.

The corsair ram i chose was CL8
