Hey all my first post here. :)

I've never built a PC before, but I want to give it a shot, so here are the parts I came up with, and if anyone can suggest any cheaper parts all the better.

I'd recommend a top brand PSU like Seasonic, Corsair or Be Quiet! just because I'm paranoid about these things. Corsair 650W like mine would be ideal and not too much more money. Looks very nicely put together otherwise.

What will it be used for?

icey_haj: Can you say he reasons for those changes? I'm no computer expert I'm just curious what the difference is.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Why certainly. :)

1. There is very little difference between the P6T and the DeluxeV2, something like 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port. Certainly not worth £50 extra, and you won't really notice the difference.

2. The graphics card is the same model, but it's a highly overclocked one and is cheaper. :D

3. The Patriot RAM I have chosen has been getting very favourable reviews and is £20 cheaper.

4. The PC & Power cooling PSU is a better quality unit at a very good price, and will allow you to go for SLI in the future, should you need it.

5. The Antec 902 is an update of the Antec 900 and it has a few changes like fan filters, and fan control amongst other things.

6. I've included the Titan CPU cooler, in case you intend to overclock, it's a great performer and is reasonably priced.

Hope this helps. :)
