Hi, first of all i am building my first PC and i have done a lot of research over the last 6 months. The PC will Primarily used for Gaming and i have GCSE's coming up so i need great performance.
I cant go much over the amount I've spent now. Here is what i have:
Processor - Intel Core i5 4670K - ~£176
Graphics Card - Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB - ~£196
MotherBoard - MSI Z87-G45-GAMING ATX Motherboard - ~£114
SSD - Samsung 840 Series 120GB - ~£76
Case - Corsair Carbide Series 200R - ~£47
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) - ~£59
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB internal Hard Drive - ~£48
PSU - Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt - ~£57

Pretty solid for the money, but there are improvements to be made without too much extra cost:

Either spend an extra £5 or so on the Samsung Evo SSD or get the Plextor one that's on a This Week Only deal for £74.

An extra couple of pounds will get you a 520W Antec or Seasonic PSU. Both will be plenty for your system, and better quality than the Builder Series.

For a bit extra £15-25 you could upgrade that 7950 to a 7970 - the ASUS Direct CU Top and Matrix Platinum are both on Today Only deals.
