First Pro Evo 6 360 review is up!

Thanks for review. :)

Pro Evolution Soccer maybe hasn’t come on as far as it maybe should or could have done. Take the slowdown as an example. When you’re taking a goal kick, or lining up a free kick from anywhere on the pitch, the game starts to stutter and stumble, as if you were playing the PS2 version of the previous title in the series.

That corresponds with the guy on Evo Web and so the guy not telling lies he has the game as i thought.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (PS2) didn't stutter or stumble at all for me

The Jap Winning Eleven 10 does.

There was slowdown but it hardly sticks out at times and i find it will not really bug anyone. But still it really should have no slowdown in a next gen game full stop.

More ammo for the Sony fanboys.

Whats that then, one bullet? :p

I wasnt bothered at all about the lack of the editing option, but I have to say, slowdown is one thing that FIFA gets hammered for, so to see it in PES6 is very dissapointing.

You've never noticed how it goes in slow motion when you're taking a free kick or goal kick? Or the stuttering when you take a corner into a packed penalty area? It's a lot worse on 60Hz but still noticeable on 50Hz.

No team editing? That's ****. If it's the same on the PS2 then I'll stick with PES5, you won't catch me running around with the North London Whites.

BTW, any DS reviews yet?

It was like that for me, I always played in 50Hz mode because of it.

Check my big thread below the 360 version has missing features im dissapointed with Konami because the PS2 version has it all the edit mode is whats missing on 360. But anyway not to draw this thread into a war like the way its gone in the other posts in the other thread if you want to talk about it im much as annoyed as you and a lot of others so post your views in the other thread if you wish.

Nah, I don't care. As long as the PS2 version has it then I'm happy. :)

If indeed there's slowdown in PES6 then that's just sloppy. If a game with the detail of Just Cause can be produced with no slowdown (or none that I've seen) then surely a game which is inherently less detailed should be no trouble

You gotta love how all the 360 owners are playing this down. I guess it wont be the same if it was for ps3 now......

Playing what down? From this and another thread, it seems most of us are annoyed at either the fact it has been cut down, or there are stuttering issues (or both)
