Iv'e been having a play with Lightroom today, and this is my first real attempt at improving a picture. I am quiet pleased with the result.

Going to take all my pictures in RAW now. I have a copy of: Adobe Classroom in a book Lightroom 4. Going to have a good to read tonight :)

Nothing special, just a snap of the dog with his stick obsession. Any opinions appreciated anything I could do to improve the detail etc etc

Agreed, the RAW conversion looks a bit yellow/orange to me. The colour on the original looks more correct, just needs a bit of a bump up in exposure .... and maybe some use of the shadows slider. Apply clarity if you want to extract a bit more detail from his fur etc ...

Cool dog I might add :)
thanks he is quite a character ;)

Looks fine to me :) as you said, I doubt your dog is perfectly white hehe :)
Thanks :) he isn't although I've had another go with the white balance and maybe this is better ?
