Q6600 (couldnt overclock because of rubbish ram)
2x2GB OCZ Intel Extreme (rubbish)

Asus 5850 (reference)

650W OCZ crap

New Specs:
Arrived
i7 950 (arrived)
Patriot Vipers @ 8-8-8-24 1600Mhz (arrived)
Asus P6x58D-E (arrived)

Ordering
Enermax 1250W (ordered)
Dust off can for my ATCS 840 (ordered)

Already Had
Asus 5850 reference (already had, but im replacing with a GTX 480 or another new graphics card, then going sli in the future)

Prolimatech megahalems (already had)

Once my PSU comes (tomorrow), il start rig building, and il post a picture before and after my rig has been completed.

haha once someone had explained to me the importance of this, I found myself constantly carressing my radiator with one hand, while building the pc with the other :cool:

I am going nvidia graphics cards and then sli in the future, when i get more funds, either with gtx 480s or a newer graphics card from nvidia.

When I had crossfire 5850 I was pulling 430w full load from the mains, Prime and 3d win mark 2006 running at the same time.

At least with the bigger PSU you are future proofing.
especially if you add water cooling etc and as you mentioned going 480SLI
