hey guys spent all last night overclocking my 3700 sandy with a artic cooling freezer 64 pro temps seem to be about 30 odd c idle and hit 51 during prime at 2.6ghz.

running on a dual vsta board as well. p120 bios i think.

whats the max temp a a64 can go to before it gets damage and is it possible to push this chip more i tried it on 2.7 but it wasnt stable on prime for long. :(

heres some pics :)

kool thx :) btw is there a program that would let me see core cpu temp while im running fullscreen apps?

thinking of pushing my chip a bit more :)

ah k btw i just lowered my voltage for the chip 1.375 and running prime at the moment getting better temps by a wee bit and seems stable so far at 2.6ghz :)

i noticed when i was doing that my main board had 1.4 as maximum voltage i could select so i guess im stuck on 2.6 :(

i assume lowering voltage cant do any harm cept be unstable?

prime still running :)

meh just failed about 19 minutes in guess ill stick voltage back to 1.4
