First Radeon R9 380 review

The 380 looks to be slightly better than stock 960, but falls short when overclocked.

A competitive price point for the 380 would surely be about £130 for the 2GB version and £150 for the 4GB version otherwise you may as well get a 280 or 960.

Not really. It confirmed that it is essentially a R9 285 rebrand with a clock bump...

Each to their own then I guess, but pointless seeing it compared to 980Ti's and Titan X's. Would rather see how it compares to cards in a similar segment - I mean from the AMD side they only compare to a R7 260 and an R9 290X - huge gulf there? Looks like an advertisement for NVidia cards tbh.

LOL, "review" removed. Such "facts", or NDA ? Haven't seen it, so hard to say :)

The RADEON R9 285 to the RADEON R9 380X is considered the crowning achievement of AMD graphics cards under the center of the camp's strategy. The strength that you see It can also play a game again because you can see the frame rate can be stirred, then this is very comfortable. It could point to consider is that. Danger of running out of power outlet on a par with the top of the GPU introduces the latest generation of the camp. Whereas the power destination, whether it is golf or frame rates in games differ moderately may be a point to consider as well. But another thing is several thousand different prices. It would be a different performance. And for fans who use 285 graphics card is also sweeps the card that we still can work well for many years.

.

Look in the interest of each card. ASUS Radeon R9 380 STRIX GAMING card is a card that you install the cooling system of its own. Heat compared to the cards REF considered cooler than on different topics, including noise, too, the card Ref that noise is a tone higher side, which may be irritating, but STRIX will not eliminate the problem. heat and noise down to almost here. Noise is noise down. I do not put a test case for whether it still feels very light volume.

.

Capable of overclocking that this would be good to be lucky or not. For the card used to make the test today may be less than the principal Daugherty tested already by mid-year. But it's also possible that thousands of middle again. The heat was not a lot of nothing. Frame rates in games, also increased markedly. This would leave it as an option for the attractiveness of the ASUS Radeon R9 380 STRIX GAMING.

Sneak peak? Please? Pretty please?

Nope, they are stock, as I have so little I am not allowing anyone to touch them, they are for customers.

Our samples arrive later this week/next week hopefully and 8 Pack shall be doing a full review and hardcore overclocking, something only OcUK ever does. :)

In all reviews before we actually just take our own stock.

But when the stock is so insanely short our stock cannot be touched!

I wasn't accusing OCUK of anything dodgy I was just highlighting that the review sample is likely handpicked by AMD and not necessarily reflective of retail cards, there's not much you can do about that if AMD won't allow you to assess a retail sample. They seem to have quite a tight control of this launch.

Just out of interest, how much money do Nvidia pay you to go around the forums spouting out completely unfounded nonsense? :o
