First Shots with G7

I've never owned a digital camera before, and never taken more than 10 photos in my life, but its a hobby I'd like to get into, so I bought the G7..

As of yet my 2 gig card hasn't arrived so despite owning it for a day, I can only take a few photos a time on my 32mb memory card!!!

Just wanted to share what I thought were some nice ones below...all taken in my garden this morning and the night before -- no post-editing as I have no program to do so yet!:

I like the first and last one. Very good for your first attempt and shows what the camera can do. The 4th one doesn't seem to be in focus though.

Just realised that I think I had these on much less than 10 million...they were only 1.5 megs each roughly...

Another few from tonight (memory card still not arrived, so only 8 photos per session - so only did 16 in total..:

I'm thinking of getting one of these, upgrading from my Pentax Optio 555. Any more feedback would be great.

Not a bad thing, if you know that you only have 8 shots to play with you will have to think before you press the button. To your credit, several of your shots show that you have done just that.
