What is wrong with it? It doesn't have missile batteries and sniper rifles but that doesn't stop people from liking the game

Besides, I'd have thought gamers would love this. The more time EA spend making games that you guys wouldn't even play, the less time they have to ruin RA3

it actually looks ok (pc gamer UK version) had a preview and it looks quite interesting, an improvement on the other versions.

Virtual Dolls house, nothing more. I had to build an entirely new computer so my daughter could play that awfulness and not sully my PC with its filth. She will be pleased there's a new one coming, no doubt it will push up the minimum spec again.

I don't play the game but I am glad it still looks like Sims game, Kinda like with warcraft, If it looked any different than it currently did, It just would not be warcraft anymore

1. Crowbar /equivalent.
2. Shotgun.
3. Machine guns.
4. Grenades.
5. Bazooka.
6. mavity gun.
7. Aliens attacking the planet in one way or another.
8. Fun gameplay.
9. Fun gameplay.
10. Portal gun.

Sims 1 was great but anything else after that was just filler crap made by EA's financial team :/

no doubt it will push up the minimum spec again.

Well the original is nearly 8 years old and the sequel is nearly 4, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect there to be an increase in the minimum specs in that sort of time.

EA is definitely onto a cash cow here and has been since the first one, but if people enjoy the games and are willing to buy them, I don't see much of a problem. That is, as long as they're not preying on the 'ignorance' of their target market.

The Sims is quite possibly the most popular games franchise ever, I don't blame EA for making a sequel. Considering they are 4 years between each of the games, that's not too bad if you want to compare with the likes of Fifa, CoD...

I actually installed The Sims 2 with all the add-ons last night. Had an urge to play it, and tbh really want to play The Sims 3*
