First SSD build - compatibility with this mobo?

Looking at the GA-H77M-D3H as per my build thread

Does anyone know if I'd need to flash the bios at all for it to be compatible / any other known issues with this board?

Wouldn't usually bother me, but its a system for my Dad so minimum tinkering is a necessity. -- this may be irrelevant anyway, all I know is my experience of SSDs when they first emerged, where everyone had to flash to various dodgy new bios' on their mobos (new and old) to get the ******* things to install windows.

Failing knowledge on the gigabyte - what's about (in 1155) around the £80 mark that'll take an SSD no troubles?

I should add that the SSD will be a 128gb Realssd M4.. Figured Crucial would be the most widely compatible -- unless anyone else can suggest otherwise?

My advice,

The BIOS doesnt need to be flashed (but do it anyway as they usually contain some other fix) remeber to set the SATA controller to AHCI instead of IDE within the bIOS.

Also for £80 you should get a proper overclocking Z77 board to maximize a "K" CPU should you use one - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-395-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261 - that one is still mATX like your first choice.
