First ssd which port to use?

I've just put my mechanical drives into the white marvell ports and left my ssd in the Intel blue port. After repairing my install again.. Everything now works! I first started putting the Ssd in at 8.30 and I have now finished. Thanks for the help sir!

Did you try the other way round? Only Marvell will be faster for your ssd

Hmm the guy earlier in this thread suggested using the Intel ports haha. So far the Ssd is SO fast. It's amazing. Very happy so far. :-)

Marvell are fine for a single ssd

It's upto you though aslong as your happy ect

Do a comparison between the Intel and Marvell controllers. As i said earlier, the reads will be a tad quicker than the Intel controller but you will find the writes are slower. A ssd is going to seem fast coming from a hdd and the only way to be sure is to bench it on both controllers.
