Hiya Guys

Saw a lencarta kit on the bay (PF-200)and thought for £150 its gotta be worth a punt. I'd rather spend £150 on 3 heads and accessories and then realise its not for me.

Well it arrived today and I haven't got a clue what to do with it. I thought it came with triggers but it came with a http://www.flashzebra.com/products/0151/index.shtml

Its got all the leads (what looks like a Phono to a small connector.

So main question is whilst its my 1st foray into the world of studio flash what triggers should I go for? Chances are If i decide I like using studio flashes I'll upgrade and sell these on ebay with the "new" triggers so don't mind going cheap now. Unless their isn't much in it.

Well if it hasn't come with triggers there are a few ways to get them working intially.

The easiest would be to use optical slave mode (I presume they have it) and use the onboard flash of you camera to fire the lamps when they detect the flash fire.

What body do you have?

Ok I'm now blind.

note to self. Don't look at flashes when checking them........real Stooopid.

Well they seem to work being triggered by my sb-900 (sometimes)

If I set the Sb-900 to flash then the studio lights work everytime
If I set it to remote its more hit and miss. It's more likely to be user error though
