Hi guys

I'm building my first computer and wanted to get a second opinion or two on first, if all the components I have selected are compatible, and second, if anyone has any suggestions or changes to the build.

Motherboard: MSI Z87M-Gaming Intel LGA1150 Z87 Micro-ATX Motherboard
Memory: HyperX 8 GB 2400 MHz CL11 DDR3 HyperX Beast Desktop Memory Kit
Processor: Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.40GHz)
PSU: EVGA 650W SuperNOVA NEX650G Gold Fully Modular PSU
Case: Corsair CC-9011028-WW Obsidian Series 350D
Graphics: Asus GTX 770 Nvidia GeForce DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5
Storage: WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5 inch Basic SATA Solid State Drive
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H55 All-In-One Liquid Cooler for CPU

Thanks!

Hi mate,

Whats your budget on this build?

I'd say get a Z97 board, even if you don't go for the 4690k (Haswell DC). :)

Im not too keen on the cooler.

Hi,

Well this comes to just over £800 and that is pretty much my maximum budget. What cooler would you recommend? I wanted to go liquid as I intend to be doing a fair bit of overclocking. Cheers.

Yeah that sounds about right. Thanks. Do you know if that power supply would still be alright if I decided to get another 770 and SLI in the future?

Anyone else got any suggestions about this build:

I would get a decent air cooler instead of that H80i, as they generally perform better than 120/140mm AIO's. 240/280mm AIO's are a different question, but the H80i is still an excellent performer if you wanted to get it for aesthetics or so.
