First time build help please!!

Hi, Im considering building my own gaming rig as Ive heard its cheaper after hours of reseach I think I can do it but I just want to double check that the components im buying will all be compatable, and is there any issues with these parts that I should know before i but them and start building, any advise is apreciated.

Case - Antec 1200
Motherboard - ASUS Crosshair IV formula
Cpu - phenom x6 black edition 3.2ghz
Gpu - XFX HD 5850
Cpu cooler - Corsair H50
RAM - CORSAIR Dominator GT CMG4GX3M2B1600C7 4GB DDR3 PC12800 1600mhz

also Im gonna be using a LG LCD HDTV 42" 1080p will there be any point in trying to overclock when using a HDTV, I dont have the money for a monitor just yet as my girlfreind is going ape about buying this PC haha

one more thing using this rig will it play all the latest games that are out now and for the future? as I dont want to be spending a lot more money after ive bought this rig. well maybe on a new gpu in a year or so, so I can crossfire. but will it play all the new games on high settings? thanks.

hi thanks for the quick replies, would either of those cases that you mentioned need extra fans fitted for cooling as I probably will overclock it in the future, also will there be enough room inside them for crossfire graphings etc?

with regards to the motherboard I have my eyes set on the crosshair iv now haha, but dont tell the missus!!

With regards to the cases, the 902 comes loaded with fans and an optioanl side fan. The 300 will require you to purchase 3 additional 120mm fans (2 for the front and one for the side), but even then is still a bargain IMHO.

The cases are both big enough for Xfire depending on what GFX cards you go for. I currently have a pair of 5770's inside my 300, but they are small cards in comparison to some of the higher end models.

With Overclocking in either case, you will have no problems at all in terms of cooling if you load them with the full fan compliment. On the stock cooler my 955 BE idles at around 39 degrees; much less for you if you go for the Corsair water cooler.

hi again mate once again thanks for your quick replies. what is the recommended temperature for overclocking? is that your temperature after overclocking? and does the gpu need any form of cooling on it own or in crossfire? is it worth me overclocking the gpu when using a 42""hdtv? is it easy to do?

Also Ive read up a bit on the crosshair IV and there seems to be a fault on a few of them were the northbridge nb over heats because its not touching the heatsink does anyone know if they have sorted this out by now?? or should i expect to be making mods to it before ive even fitted it??
