Such is the is the urgency of my situation that I have to keep my description very brief.
I am travelling to london for a week this weekend and I want to place my order for all the various parts so that they can arrive next week and I can take it back with me to South Africa and assemble the computer there. Listed below is what ideally i would like my build to do. My budget is 400-600 including the screen.
1)I want my build to be easily upgradable(memory, graphics.
2)All purpose (Gaming/Home Entertainment etc etc.
3)The ability to connect DSTV (South africa's version of sky) to my computer so I can watch and record shows on my PC. Although this is not as important has having a better performing computer if there was some sort of trade off involved here.
As you can probably tell, I am relatively new to this. I have read "Guide to helping you choose your components" and the "system build guide." So I have a basic understanding to a certain extent. I guess what im really looking for is some advice to get me started and that I can research around so as to be able to make an informed decision on my own. I just don't want to waste time researching the wrong things as my time is very limited. In addition some advice for a first time assembler would be very much welcomed.
Thank you, CC
