Hi everyone,
After growing up as a console gamer I've finally decided its time to take the leap into the wonderful world of PC gaming. Having spent some time researching online and speaking to a couple of pals who've built PCs of their own I've got together the following build. My choices below have been heavily influenced by a few of the other spec threads in this forum. One thing I am unsure about however is my choice of graphics card; I see most on the forums recommend the "Gigabyte ATI 7950" but I've read/heard Nvidia cards are a bit easier to deal with in terms of drivers and general support due to wider use. I've also read that the 660ti (marginally) outperforms the 7950, though I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference. Any advice on this and the rest of the build would be greatly appreciated.
I should mention I already have a mouse, os and monitor and am looking to spend £1000 or less.
Thanks in advance for any advice, the OC forums have already been a godsend!
Cheers
