This will be my first time building a gaming rig (in fact my first time building any pc) so I just want some tips on what to make sure I do and don't do while building it :D I'm not a total newbie when it comes to hardware since I've seen way too many videos but I just want to make sure everything is going to be alright when I will do mine :)

I have looked though the PC building topic on this forum but maybe there's something about this case or parts that needs to be mentioned :)

I also have no idea which way is best to connect the monitor, I'm guessing HDMI ?

Here's the parts I've bought:

Looks great.

Also in one more post you get free delivery so go for it, or there is a voucher you can use as you are buying a superflower PSU+case.

HDMI+DVI give the same picture quality, with HDMI you can get the speakers to work.

Yep I heard about the delivery thing but too late since I have already made the purchase earlier today :/ Also what voucher?! did I miss some £200 discount XD ?

Oh well, what can I do now. I wasn't aware of this at the time and I bought everything with a £15 delivery fee which seems reasonable compared to the price of the rig :D .

I do have one more question though. Since the keyboard is ETA on 20 November, are all the parts going to come on the 20th or just the keyboard?

Ask in customer service.

It may arrive minus the keyboard which will follow later.

Do you have one to use in the mean time?

I have posted something in the customer service section yesterday and no one has answered sooo yeah. I do have one to use even though is a very awful £10 keyboard.

Alrightty :D Since my parts will arrive Wednesday most probably, I need to educate myself on how to connect all the cables from the PSU to the motherboard and everything I need to do so I don't blow up, kidding :P. Since I do have a rough idea which cable needs to be plugged in where I'm not scared about it whatsoever, but there are some which I have no idea where to plug them :D Sooo maybe you guys know a guide for this particular motherboard/psu.

Cheers :)
