First time building a system, NEED HELP.

Hey, yes all though components seem fine and will fit the antec 300 case fine. I have just ordered a similar system, minus the case, PSU and Dvd drive. I ordered a Asus P7P55D motherboard and the same make ram as you, but I ordered the G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit.

Personally I would have gone for the Asus P7P55D Evo Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard and with the saving on that, I would get at least a 550w PSU for headroom in future and maybe a arctic cooler Rev 2 in case you want to overclock down the road, though it is just my opinion.

The 5770 is a lovely card, as I have played Left 4 dead 2 and COD: MW2 on this type of system and it is mind blowing, and I havent even overclocked it yet. Hope this helps.

The stock intel HSF is not really a great fan if you plan to overclock. Sure it is fine for stock speeds, but if you overclock the temps get high. A good CPU cooler will keep the chip cooler at higher overclocks.

Before buying 2 cases I'd send a webnote and ask when your Fractual case will be in stock might just be a case of a few days or if its to long a wait you could pick out a different case completely.

I'd agree with MonkeyWing on the motherboard choice looks like you just picked the most expensive motherboard there is, not the best way to pick out computer components, go for one of the cheaper ones and google for reviews of the board.

Like the others said you won't be able to do much overclocking with the stock heatsink you will need another cooler.

Ok I have though about what you guys have said and updated some things accordingly, although I have read reviews etc on the motherboard and it is the one I want as it also has a very nice built in sound card.

Updated system

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it.
