First time building

Ok, my parts finally came today

This will be my first time building from scratch, have had to upgrade parts before but never put in a mobo or CPU.
I've seen people do it and gather it shouldn't be too hard but I also bought the tuniq tower 120 and I've heard some people say it can sometimes be a bit hard to put in.
Just wondering what the best order is to put things in with this cooler? Got an antec nine hundred case

Just putting in motherboard and probably a stupid question but I'd like to be sure anyhow

Put the ip35 pro into the 900 and Im putting the screws into the brass standoffs. It says I need to use phillips-head screws. I have used all the ones I have to this and the motherboard feels pretty secure but there is still one left and I dont have another screw that's the same. Is it alright if I use a different type of screw or just leave it with 1 not done up?

just realised the 900 doesnt have a power led or internal speaker

btw - HD audio from the 900 is only if I have a sound card, right?

1 question about the abit ip35 pro
I am trying to plug in my IDE dvdrw. It says there is meant to be an IDE port but I see only sata ports labeled. These also look pretty hard to get to. Any advice on plugging this in?

Everything seems to be working fine hardware wise right now

Just made one stupid mistake when installing xp though

Set a partition of 40gig, first time partioning and misunderstanding what it said didn't bode well. Now I have only 40gig of usable space. Is there anyway to undo this partition so I have all 250gig or will I have to reformat?
