I know I've had the odd objection to being on private property without permission before, but this is the first time somebody on a quad bike has tried to run me over at Keele University lakes because I had a camera in my hand. I dont think his mates were too pleased about him either since he has now drawn attention to their regular, illegal jolly about the woods.
First time for everything I suppose.

Not in the slightest. I was simply walking around the lakes doing some general photography, which is open and accessible to anybody except people using vehicles. It looks like they have been illegally using the area without attracting the notice of security up until today.
What I think has happened is the moron on the quad bike thought I was somebody gathering photographic evidence of them driving around on behalf of Keele University. He probably lacked the mental capacity to realise I was just a photographer wandering around to take various pictures of the landscape.
