Been looking into it for a couple of weeks now and the Logitech g35 and the Logitech g930 seem to be the good choices. But AFAIK isn't the g930 just a wireless g35?

I have read about other ones like seinheisser or however you spell it.

Was wondering if anyone here uses a wide range of headsets and/or has used the ones listed above.

Please suggest :)

Didn't even think about connections!

I've never gamed with a headset and don't know much about them. Though I did read that the surround sound on the g930 isn't as noticeable and well done compared to other sets

I have the Plantronics Gamecom 367 and for the price it cost, it does me fine. I personally wouldn't spend £80+ on a headset and would rather put the money towards something else.

I might have a change of heart though if ever decide to get a dedicated sound card rather then just using onboard sound and a top quality headset would be more benefiting.

Every headset I've had to date has used 3.5mm jacks, so can't comment if using USB is any better or worse.

well i have the logitech z550 speakers they are great and cant fault them but having moved in with the GF headphones needed so i purchased the logitech G35's all i can say is gaming bliss

for a usb set they work very well the surround sound is awsome well worth the price if u buy cheap u get cheap and end up buying a better set so get your self some g35s any problems and logitech will replace with a new set

Depending on how much you are willing too spend i would either go with the Astro Mixamp or the Trittion AX720 which is what i use. From the time i have used these they are nothing under amazing I recommend them.

The Astros are suppost to me better though they are a lot more expensive.
