Hi guys,
Going to be building a PC for my good friend, Alex
I'm going to be able to put it together no problem, but I wanted to post here to ask what you people think about components/value, etc:

The main things I'm not sure about is the monitor and the mobo. I was hesitant to go for an Asus mobo this time as all the current ones seem to suffer from horrible boot up lag (around 15 seconds
). But does anyone have a better suggestion for a non-Asus mobo?
The monitor I'm REALLY not sure about. He's not really interested in 3d, but I thought the 120fps would be a good option.
And is there better bang for buck on any of my other components?
Thanks very much, would be great if I could get some advice on this as he wants to basically ship the PC to my house asap so it can be ready for him when he moves back to London in a couple of weeks!
