Hey everyone..

Now that I've got my kit and plugged everything together im ready to try overclocking for real :D.

My kit looks like this..

MB: MSI P67A-C45 Intel P67
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz
Gfx: EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SuperClocked 768MB GDDR5 PCI-Express
Ram: GeIL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz VALUE PLUS DC
Drive: LiteOn iHBS112 12x BluRay-RW 16 x DVD±RW Drive
Hdd: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB Sata
PSU: BeQuiet Pure Power L7 530W Power Supply
Tower: Coolermaster Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black
CPU Cooler: Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler

Ive already read a lot of oc guides and also got it working okay but got some questions still.

I've got some weird beep sounds when I start the computer. Like: "Beep -- beep beep beep beep -- Beep"
Something like that.

But to my other questions
What programs do you use for stability test?
How much power are you throwing at the Vcore and what temps + cooling are you using as well..

When im using prime95 I can get the temp to nearly 80 :(..

Ive been reading around now and it seems im having a bit high temps compared to a lot of the other ppl..
Real temp : 70 - 80 - 83- 75
Been running prime95, In-place large fft, 8 torturse test to run. It has been running in around 1 hour now..

CPU Ratio x 46
Baseclock x 100
Vcore - 1.3100
PCH 1.050
Dram Vol 1.64467

Is the CPU fan running at full whack in the BIOS setting?

Temps do seem high on your setup, i'm using a similar cooler (Titan Fenrir) and get 55-60degs @ 4.6Ghz on the i25000k.

Maybe worth taking the cooler off and re-applying the thermal paste and re-seating it?

Yeah sys fan 1+2 at 100%.. And I can see the cpu fan speed is at ~1800RPM all the time.. In the bios the cpu is @~50C :s..

I've just tried reseating the cooler but seems I've have to try buy another tube of thermal paste and reseat again..

Hey everyone..
Now I bought some new thermal paste and cleaned the cpu and cooler off and added the new stuff to check temps..
But now when I start the computer, does this happen:

Starts on and all coolers are running but I dont get anything on my monitor (black screen), and I do not either get beeps or post :s

Reset the Cmos, check that you have not dislodged and cards or connections. Check your memory is properly seated.
