First time overclocker

Hi, having just overclocked my pc E6750@3ghz for the first time, tat showing temps cpu/0-44 and cpu/1 at 46.Running two copies of orthos for six hours simultaneously is this the right way to see if your pc is stable.All settings in bios unchanged apart from memory which is set at 1:1.

P35 DS3P
ATI 2900 XT
OCZ 2GB PC2-6400
ARTIC COOLING FREEZER 7 PRO

Yes. Run small fft's to see your max temp. Run blend for a good all round idea of system stability.

Also in your bios set the PCI frequency to 100 from auto as if that goes too high it can damage your card Push that chip to 3.2Ghz+
