Hi 8 Pack :)

I got an i3 530 to 3.8GHz with 1.225v last night, stays at around 75°C on Prime95 and gets nowhere near that hot in general use.

The board is an Asus Maximus III Gene, and I think the cooler is a cheap Akasa (the same style as the Intel cooler but with a thicker heatsink) used in Acer and Packard Bell pre-builds. (possibly this one: http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/cpu.product.tpl&no=181&type=CPU%20coolers&type_sub=Standard%20Intel&model=AK-CCE-7105EP) and it is in a Packard Bell pre-build case with little to no airflow.

I have had no experience with these chips previously, is that a decent overclock for those volts?

Hoping to get a-lot more out of it at some point with a new cooler :D

Slight update, got some cheap w/c in and currently stability testing at 4.4GHz w' 1.36v (offset + LLC) :)

Temps are hovering at around 65°C

Nearly, but not quite :p

Got a BSOD after about 12 (ish) hours of folding. It was a 0x101.

I was just going to bump the VCORE up by a click as it seems that the 0x101 is often related to VCORE. Could it be anything else though before I do that?

Its on 22x200, 1.36v offset, LLC enabled, other values are on their defaults I believe.

The board is an Asus Maximus III Gene :)
