Just got a new card, but don't know where to start really. Want to push this card a little and here's where it sits now. Air cooled. It's a Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme Spectra. What should i start with? Are the 0Mhz basically indicating stock values? 1+ over that is where the overclocking begins?

Put power limit at maximum, add +100 mem and then benchmark, if it artifacts / crashes (highly unlikely) drop to +80 etc... etc... or if it doesnt crash add +120 core.. keep tweaking / benching until it becomes unstable, revert to previous stable clock, then do the same for memory.

you can also unlock the voltage limiter to allow a little more juice which is safe as it will only let you go to 1.093v (100% on slider) - im not familiar with firestorm s/w bit MSI afterburner its done with checking 2 tick boxes in the meu.

Yes 0mhz/stock settings always load by default. you need to save a profile and check 'apply at startup' somewhere in your software

The higher the stable GPU clock (core frequency) the faster the GPU. GPU Memory overclocks have little effect on performance ~1-2fps in my experience.

In my experience with pascal, you can o/c memory from 0 - +700mhz card lottery. GPU core 0 - +120mhz on air.
