Looking to pick up a tablet but don't have the first clue what i should be looking for with them so any help appreciated. It's really just for something to sit on the coffee table that will control XBMC, read the odd email and possibly for controlling the lights etc so i'd like it to at least have a decent battery.

OCUK seem to do a bunch of cheap ones but i've no idea which are good, i don't mind buying second hand either seeing as a few nexus 7's keep popping up on the MM. Budget is say £150.

Cheers mate, how long of a battery life are we talking with the kind of usage i mentioned? Bear in mind the wifes at home all day so she'd probably be using it to change channels etc then too. If it has to be plugged in when we go to bed every night or two then that's fine, i just don't fancy something that needs charged every 4-8 hours :)

Which one would you recommend? There's 3 in the budget, the £155 one looks at a glance to be the most expensive because of the phone use (probably useless to me) but lower specs, the other 2 pretty much look the same other than screen size but i don't really know what i'm looking at tbh.
