First Time Temps

I Just booted for the first time and my CPU (E8500) is showing at around 42C in the BIOS, and mobo (Asus P5Q Pro) about 36C. Should I be worried? I'm using stock heatsink

Those temps are fine, if you ever intend to overclock, ditch the stock intel cooler as it aint that great

thanks setter. I also can't see my optical drive in the bios. It saw my hdd the first time, I rebooted to see if it would see optical drive and it saw neither

SATA cables can be very sensitive. Try not to bend them and try different slots on the motherboard.
