Hi i am i first time user of overclockers looking to buy a gaming pc AMD. I have a budget of 350 - 600 pound preferably lower because i will upgrade over time. I want to able to run dawn of war 3 on high graphics. I dont need a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Would love some help and guidance on what i could do with the money i have available.

Looking at this article:

It does seem that there are large performance gains to be made going above a 2 core CPU. Dawn of War 3 could certainly be playable on a dual-core, but as with most RTS games, the CPU is the real decider.

For upgrading a PC, you generally upgrade a CPU less often than a GPU. In that sense, you may want to get a much stronger CPU now, instead of having to waste money getting a replacement soon. Getting a cheaper GPU could make most sense.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £583.20
(includes shipping: £12.30)

So to keep under budget, I've made some assumptions - you're going to re-use a HDD/SSD from elsewhere and already have windows. If you don't have an SSD, you can get a 128gb one for around £50.
