First time using Nvidia Card, driver advice

Hi, well i have gone to the other side and have bought my first Nvidia card for MANY years!

Now, i know nothing if how Nvidia release there drivers, i am using the 169.21 drivers that came on the cd. The card i have is a 8800GTS, is the path all clear to update to latest drivers or are there preferd ones and things to watch for?

Welcome to the green.

The 174.74 beta driver is the best around at the moment. They are on Nvidias website under the beta driver section and support most cards (8800).
