hi its my first loop and want to cool my i7 4770k and maybe my graphics card which is a msi 280x thanks

the case ive been looking at is the Xigmatek Elysium Full Tower Windowed Case

or the Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Silver

what is the best route for me to go thanks for a good watercooled setup but not through the roof thanks its my cpu i mainly wnat to cool as i can look at watercooling the graphics card in the future my board is a msi z87-g43 but eventually i wnat to buy a better board with wc northbridge thanks any help will be appreciated

yh think thats what im going with overclockers do a bundle 355 the phanteks pre watercooled witha 360 rad but as its my first wc setup id like to assemble the loop myself

Can fit a 360+240 internally in the 540. It is a great case for water cooling and due to its shape, maintenance and setting up a WCing loop is easy. ATM have nb/mobo, RAM, CPU and a 290x under water in my 540.

Hi, welcome to watercooling! :).

Any of the three cases you have mentioned have adequate room for radiators to cool the components you have mentioned. With that in mind, pick the one with the design you like the most and that will fit where you want to put it. My personal favourite of the three is the Enthoo Primo.

A 360mm radiator, or equivalent combination of radiators, should be enough to cool a 4770k and 280x to a reasonable overclock. For headroom (and the ability to run slower / quieter fans) I would probably recommend a 480mm rad (or equivalent i.e. 2 x 240's)

In my loop I cool 2 GTX680s, a 3930k (oc'd to 4600) and the motherboard on two 240mm rads. (admittedly one is 80mm thick but hey :p). They can just about cope with that but things do get a bit noisy when I stress it.

If you put together a list of parts you think you would like to use - we can give advice / suggestions from there. Hope that helps!

thanks everyone i do like the 540 i hadt he black but the silver one looks nice will update thread when ive decided which case to go with as case is first on the list

Hi there an update if i went for a 540r in silver and black is there enopugh room for a 360 Rad?

And another question is there room for push and pull?

If not will i lose much just having the fans on push or just pull thanks
