Worthing
I have just upgraded my graphics card in my gaming PC to a Radeon R9 290, very pleased with the result!
However, I do notice it's running very hot! so I have decided it might be an idea to finally get around to putting a watercooling system in my PC, after doing a bit of reading online it seems that closed loop systems don't really offer what I need, can anyone give me a suggested parts list?

My case is a Coolermaster 690 II
Ideally I would like to cool the graphics card and the CPU! I would say I could budget around about £300ish for the whole thing

Thanks in advance!

It would require a minimum of £350 if you can stretch to that its do able. GPU blocks tend to be just shy of £100 so it doesnt leave much to play with.

Sound good?

Is it a branded r290? like msi or gigabyte or a standard AMD one?

Edit: (assuming standard r290);

I assume youll have two fans spare for the extra 240mm rad. Annoyingly your case wont allow a 360mm so 2x 240mm would be the best bet. The EK rad is good but youll be nearer the £400 mark for a great one. This setup should provide more than adequate cooling for cpu and gpu.

I always advise the d5 pump over the 750 better power/less noise/longer MTBF. Much better rad but you do pay for it.

Just so I can check my maths what cpu is it?

Its a Powercolour one, but it appears to be a reference cooler and card design

the processor is a 4670k

thanks for the help so far!

Parts are all ordered! Decided to go with the slightly cheaper option pump wise, Again, thank you so much for the help! Can't wait to get assembling! :D
