so would this be a better choice of pump for that, I had read that it was the better pump for large loops but I couldnt find anything bad about the D5 Vario either:

If you can find one an MCP35X would be best, but I don't think they are stocked in the UK yet :(

But yeah that one will perform better than the D5 by a a reasonable amount.

yeah I am going to setup a drain tube somewhere in the loop so I can empty the whole loop without an issue then i can dismantle it if required but I thought better to be safe than sorry for my first time clamps will be just to reassure me :)

now thinking about it I have planned to do routing this way

Res>Pump>CPU>GT Stealth 120>GPU 1>GPU2>SR1 Rad> back to Res

Res is mounted on the side by the drives on the 800d, rad in the top of the case, smaller rad on the back of the case, then CPU in normal spot and graphics cards at the bottom, now if i want to install a drain tube I am thinking I need a T junction and 3 more barbs and a plug between GPU2 and the SR1 low down in the case is that correct?

You don't need a T junction. Drainage points arent really worth the hassle as the vacuum will cause much of the water to be retained in the loop anyway, especially with a roof mounted rad like the 800D configuration. When draining my loop I simply yank the tube off the lower of my two GPUs and empty into a bottle. Job done.

Are you really gonna mount the second rad on the back of the case? Bad move imo, should mount it in the bottom section of the case for a cleaner look. Theres room for a 240 rad down there.
