First Time Watercooling

Hi all,

So i have deiced that i would like to watercool my system. I know that my current case is far too small for that so i will be buying a new one, and a new motherboard to go with.

So basically this is my first time dining anything with watercooling, so i have been doing some research on this and i have picked out the parts i would like to use. But im not 100% confident in my choices and im after some reassurance from other who have more experiences in this.

I have a budget of about £850, that includes having to buy a new case and motherboard. Below i will link to the parts im thinking of using. I would be grateful if you could confirm that they all work together. would hate to spend that money and find something dose not fit with another.

So here are the Overclockers UK stock codes

Case: CA-157-CS
Motherboard: MB-143-AK
GPU Water Block: WC-99F-EK
GPU Back Plate: WC-882-EK
CPU Water Blcok: WC-000-LL
Fittings: WC-177-BP
Tubing: WC-107-PM
Reservoir/Pump Combo: WC-163-XS
Radiator: WC-084-XS
Coolant: WC-152-XS

So those are the parts. I should point out that i have 2 GTX 980tis and i have 4 full sized hard drives and a bluray reader/write. Will everything fit in to the case? and is everything comparable?

and final just some other simple questions.

1. how many fittings will i need to buy?
2. will 1 tube of 1m be enough or should i buy 2 tubes?
3. will the 1 bottle of coolant be enough to cool my cpu and 2 gpus?

Thank you all in advanced for taking the time to help me out, if you can suggest any improvements that would not push me over my budget please let me know.

You will need 10 fittings plus you might need to consider some swivel 90 degree ones depening on your loop

1m isnt enough, get 2m. You might make mistakes and alwasy best to keep spare stock of the right tube in case you cant buy it later.

1 bottle should be enough.

Thanks for your answer, I will buy 2 tubes. I will also look in to the 90 degrees fittings.

So would all the parts fit in to that case?

The rad stock code throws up a 240mm radiator,this wont be enough for a cpu and 2 980ti's.Your gonna want at least 480mm of rad space for these components,so you would need 2 of the selected radiator and an extra 2 fittings.

Ok so if I swap to a 480mm radiator, stock code wc-086-xs. Would that still fit in the case I picked? I'm not sure it would.

But if I get 2 of the one I listed in my original post I think I could fit one in the top and the one in the bottom.

But if I got 2 of them how would the setup go? Would it be

Reservoir > pump > radiator 1 > radiator 2 > cpu > gpu 1 > gpu 2 > reservoir

Or

Reservoir > pump > radiator 1 > cup > gpu 1 > gpu 2 > radiator 2 > reservoir

The 750D can support a 240mm and a 360mm rad at the same time.

Loop order doesnt matter,as long as the res is before the pump,determine your loop order by whats the easiest way to run your tubing
