First time “Wire Less” set up

Please forgive me for asking as I know it will have been covered many times previously, and for someone who has not up to speed with wireless set ups the sticky and guides can be a minefield.

I currently have a couple of computers linked to the internet (ASDL) via a wired system, e.g. the main PC has to be on in order for the second PC to access the internet.

What I want to do is have a set up whereas either PC can connect to the internet without having to turn on the other PC, I assume the way to go is wireless and would appreciate any/all help regards what Router, PCI Cards etc to buy.

I personally recommend a US Robotics 9106 Sureconnect for a router.
