Took the new lens out on Saturday to Attenborough Nature Reserve with my girlfriend. Basically she took the bread, I took the photo's...she did a great job of whipping the birds up into a frenzy!

Here are my 2 favourite photo's, got to say nature photography, especially on moving birds is damm hard - never had a go before!!

Comments and critique always welcome, I am pleased with them, the lens is an absolute joy to use :)

Hey, nice shots, i allways have trouble tracking birds but its just cos i put no effort into it. Its a great lens and come summer you'll have a lot of fun! S

Well done for buying a great Lens.. I have had most canon zooms at some point and the 70-200f4 was up there with th sharpest of the bunch
I think its a really underated lens
nice pics

nice pics, I have enough trouble shooting them when they keep still! Im going to try shooting moving aircraft first, I hoping as they are a bit bigger it might be a bit easier :D

Yeah couldn't believe how tricky they were! Thanks for the feedback, I definately found they were here one second and then over there the next, I struggled and so did the lens to get a firm track.
