Right this is first time ive ever dabble in this area of PC's and would like some help, after many hours spent at work dossing about talking to my mate about PC's and spec's we've came to this point now, Where we're half hearted as if it will "Gel" so to say, Any advice on changes for a more of a positive out come would be appreciated highly, Also i know im missing one or two things as i havnt a clue what to put in.

Antec Nine Hundred Gaming Case
Asus P5W64-WS Pro Intel 975X (Socket LGA775) PCI-Express DDR2
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
OCZ GameXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775)
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional SoundCard 7.1
Akasa AK174CC-4RAB 120mm Multi Colour LED Fan x1
GeIL 2GB (2xGB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160GB ST3160811AS SATA-ll 8MB Cache - OEM x2
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

Another question; Microsoft Vista - Worth getting now? Or wait later till it's less buggy? I hear theres ermm quite a few problems with it at the moment.

So more along the line's of

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 200GB ST3200820AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM

That instead for a start, If it doesnt fit dont fancy taking risk with it lol.

Already got the Case, Mobo, & Processor, Apprantley the PSU is on it's way but i only just found out about this thing other day after i orderd my PSU >_< wish i didnt bother lol but il give it ago!

Thanks for the welcome, the world of PC's is completely new to me so this should be a massive learning curve lol

Hmm might try it, Gotta wait for pay day anyway's to order some more stuff now :( No wonder im so skint, i hope this will be worth while lol.

pluggining it in basicly

there are a few tricky parts but mainly thats in the bios and such,

cpu drops in and gets clipped down, hsf goes on top, also clips down

ram slots in and clips in

graphics same as above

hard drives simple as plugging 2 cables in

dvd drives same as above

plugging all power cables into the available slots on the mobo

connecting the front buttons and lights can be a bit anoying but isnt hard to do

and thats the basics realy

Sounds easy enough, Opend up my Mobo box and was like oh man what have i got my self into lol...

i like how you said "Apprantley to keep the power in the battery" lol,
Yeah im making little note's on stuff cause i really cant afford to Beep things up

Sorry for language.

lol if you have any proplems dont hesitate (spelling??) to ask, one of us will answer your cries for help :P

wish i could afford to buy all the parts in one go, have to buy one part at a time when i do a system build, im gonna get everything apart from the mobo, cpu and ram then buy those after its all done

my new system is gonna set me back atleast £700 for the main rig no monitor keyboard or mouse :S

make sure you have a large flat area to build your computer

and if you dont have an anti static wrist strap touch the case every now and then to release the static charge in you, i dont know if you need the psu and the power cable plugged in but im sure someone will clear that up

Ive had to order parts per week too, if i could buy it in bulk would be amazing when you buy it in parts feels like forever to get it all lol. £800-900 for mine and i still need Desk Monitor Mouse Keyboard lol as long as it lasts for a long time it should be a worty investment. How much anti static wrist strap cost couple of quid?
