as most of your games will be on the HDD, with the odd one on the SDD, i'd opt for a better approach, better doesn't mean more or faster either, just a different option.

and btw build it yourself, there's plenty of guides here.

£181.94 for storage paid / quoted...

Thanks Rhyswh

Is the Corsair Hydro H105 the closed loop cooler?

And can I drop another 2tb drive into this as I would like to mirror the disk as I will be storing family photos etc on it!

This has SLI 970's and an i7, the 980 might not be enough to power 144Hz and 1440p together? Not 100%, but I'd take the SLI 970's

A 980 or even a 970 is enough to power a 144hz monitor! As long as you get constant of over 60fps you'll make use of the 144hz!

Edit: jsut noticed the 1440p sorry! Yeah maybe go SLi then!

so do you think i will be ok with the gtx980 or should i go sli 970's?

A single 980 is plenty.

Ive amended a spec above that takes into account one of the two gfx cards that are on daily deal.

Looks like free shipping is already calculated for you with the inclusion of the superflower PSU+case.

I'd prefer 1 card myself but not sure what sort of FPS you'll get with one at 1440p. Maybe go Sli? Someone else might no more on this than me!

Edit: Nevermind, Stulid to the rescue!

wow thanks Stulid that looks like a beast!!! how do i easily get that list imported into a basket or do i have to go through and pick everything manually?
