First turn on, no power to SATA?

Hi

I have recently put a pc together, watercooled.

When I go for turn on the MB lights up, the switch lights up, the fan which is connected to the SYSFAN connector for first boot up spins but there is no power to the 4 pin SATA cables which power the waterpumps and LED's, this is preventing me from bleeding the system.

The MB beeps for about 8 seconds on boot.

PSU as well as everything else is brand new, MB etc is an overclocked bundle so tested at OC before it was sent out I assume.

Any help would be great thanks.

Search on Google for "power on self test" in cases your mobo is telling you in how it's beeping.

disconnect every thing, from the psu, and plug just your pump into a sata connection and do the paper clip trick to see if the psu gives the pump any power.

If you haven't bled your system yet that's how you should be doing it anyway, that way in case you have a leek, all of your other parts don't get damaged. At least buy a cheapo slave psu just for the purpose of leek testing / bleeding

Do this and if it doesn't work then come back to us.

Thanks for the advice guys it was a pin on one of the 4 pin power connectors, it had been pushed back and was not in contact with the plug!, working now!
