Gigabyte Z87X-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Thermalright HR-02 Macho CPU Cooler
GPU
KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 "Hall of Fame Edition" 4096MB GDDR5
PSU
SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 850W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold"
RAM
Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit
SSD
Plextor M5S 256GB Solid State Drive
Case
Corsair Carbide 300R Mid Tower Case

Much Thanks!

What is your intended use for the system?

Are you doing anything with it at the moment where you feel it struggles?

If you're gaming, what games do you play and at what resolution?

monitor res, if 1080p 60hz might want to think about 1440p 60hz/144hz or 1080p 144hz .

logical step for more fps is GPU. but if your playing games like BF then you may wish to add in a second hand i7 K and overclock it

Thanks for the advice ended up going down this route as a stop gap before overhauling the system next year.
