First VR headset

I am looking to get my first VR headset I have no idea what one to go for. I have been wanting to try VR for years, but with all the numerous companies it's hard to know what one to get therefore can someone assist me in picking the best one.

Well I have up to £700 but really dont want to spend that amount if possible

If Your max budget is £700 there are really only two options worth considering, the Oculus Quest or the Oculus Rift S.

Both are great headsets and both will be an amazing experience for someone who hasn't tried VR before. I don't think you can wrong no matter which one you pick.

Thanks Been looking at the rift S I just wish there was a place I could go to test all these out before I buy
