First water loop - 8x GPU's (4x initially)

@Bubo

No thanks, I like to do things myself.

@Armageus

The reason for stating budget and space is of no concern, was to hear what people's solutions would be without those constraints.

And yes, you've hit the nail on the head with regards to not wanting to drain an entire loop if I need to remove an individual card.

Time to read back on some old crossfire and sli threads I think...

EKWB do a 8GPU 2CPU manifold with Quick disconnects. Very Pricey and might be hard to source with the state of EKWB over tha last year.

Manifold + QDCs for CPU + 8GPU and blocks radiators, fittings etc wouldnt surprise me if you looking £3000k+

@pigeonguyuk

the K-Pro 2CPU 8GPU Acetal Manifold Unit the one you mean? Looks good! Don't need the CPU's to be watercooled as such, but would mean I could get rid of the AIO's which would make the build cleaner.

The blocks I'm looking at would cost about £300 all in.

£2500 for radiators, pumps and and fittings is definitely more expensive than I was hoping :(

Cheers for the reply :)

How neat does the build need to be? If you are happy to do the cooling in an external radbox, you could source lots of cheap 2nd hand radiators to keep the cost low. Likewise, given you are just looking to avoid draining the system, could you not just go with push/fit fittings that self seal when disconnected - have one in each in and out line to every GPU and you can just isolate the dud card when needed.

This sort of thing:

No Leak compression fitting

Not neat at all really, it will be more function over form.

I've been keeping my eye out for cheap 2nd hand copper radiators but not had much luck!

I've sourced 4x waterblocks that are just the right dimensions for the gpu/hbm2 die, and so I'm just trying to decide between a suitable pc pump and rads, or an old double width house rad and a central heating pump.

Forget about EKWB Pro stuff. We started to use it then it became impossible to acquire. The response from EK to a business was an utter joke. Alphacool have a great range of enterprise products. There is also a company that is making a big push into enterprise lc soon, however i am not allowed to disclose which manufacture it is.

Have you looked into the newer MoRa stuff? Thry make an absolutely massive radiator like 16 fans big or something and they also make all the stuff you need to plum and run the radiator.

What are you specifically looking for ideas on? The basic will be drawing a layout internally if using a case to get an idea of space. The requirement to be able to remove specific cards means the complexity of your WC setup is probably going to be angled fittings and some combination of QDCs (or ball drain valves if going ghetto) to achieve that and how to reconnect cards if one is removed. This would get significantly simpler if the requirement drops to only needing to be able to disconnect all the cards together as a bypass.
