First watercooling attempt

I've been extremely impressed by the 295, I've never had a GFX card that has kept up this well for so long. Do you think my 360 XSPC rad would keep up with adding a GFX card in too?

Just a quick response to the cable management comments... :p

Everything running behind the motherboard now;

If your not too bothered about cutting your case I'd turn the radiator around and cut holes near the front of your case and have the barbs coming in at the 5.25" bays, would reduce the amount of tubing by so much and look better.

Or change the loop order to Res->Pump->Radiator->CPU->Res. (also easier to add in a GPU between the pump and radiator without much change to tubing)

That is a good idea although I have already cut the case to fit the rad as it is and im not sure I could fit it the other way round as holes probably wouldn't line up. I kind wish I'd just bought a bigger case in hindsight. Perhaps in the future but spent enough over Christmas as usual.

I'll have a look at it when I get a chance as I may be able to turn it round and you're right, it would look better.

The other thing I need to get is a grill to protect the rad from the top.

Shes running at 4.6Ghz at the moment :)

I only wanted the grill incase I dropped somthing on it one day.

Much better now it's tidy. How easy did you find it? half tempted to have a go sometime.

Watercooling? I found it as easy as I find building a PC, the hardest part was decing what to buy and the overclockers V12 kit made that easy. Putting it together couldn't have been more simple really. I think it would have been easy to over tighten the barbs when fitting but I was careful and they all seem fine.

I just took my time over it all to make sure there were no leaks.

Well I turned the rad around today as suggested. I actually had to cut out all my terrible work in the top of the case and start again with another sheet of metal and make a frame. Made things look much better although I'm now thinking of spraying the whole case. One thing leads to another...

Still a bit of wet paint above

Yes, I'm rebuilding my Land Rover at the moment so I'm used to metal work. The new tops riveted on and perhaps a little over engineered. The only thing bugging me now is that I didn't have any matching paint for the top. I'm tempted to spray the whole thing with the green paint I'm spraying the Landy in.

I'm such a nerd I even used a Draytek ruler...
