Ok i'm just putting together my first water build.

I've got the Dual 750 bay res/pump
Swiftech Apogee GTZ
Asus Blitz Formula built in water block
thermochill 120.3 rad
Masterkleer 7/16 tubing.
Going into a MM U2 - UFO case!

I want to know 2 things..

1. Does the rad have an in and an outlet? or does it not matter?
2. Do i run the loop......

Res/pump out -> CPU in
CPU out -> Chipset in
Chipset out -> Rad in
Rad out -> Res/pump in.

or do i go from the rad to the cpu? new build water noob!! lol.

If anyone wants to help me via skype my username is realscot555.

cheers.

1. Doesn't matter.

2. Doesn't matter which order you put the components in as long as you go res > pump, and that won't matter for you since you're using a combo. Use whichever order is the easiest to route/uses the least tubing.

Personally I go res>pump>CPU>chipset>rad>res. But that's simply because it's the easiest to route in my set-up.

Nice one thanks.. That's it all connected up and bled. I gave the case a good tip back and fourth to get rid of all the air bubbles. Spot on now... not a single bubble!! I'm just leaving it running connected up to a psu for a while and see if there's any leaks.. but it's looking good so far, every join is bone dry!!

I've got propper Jubilee clips on all but the CPU block as it came with those plastic ones that ratchet shut.
Well it's all built up now.. I'm confident there wont be any leaks.

I've just resumed my previous overclock (since its a new mobo)

E6400 @ 3200 @ 1.25v (1.275 bios)

Idle is now 30-32 per core and full pelt with orthos is around 41-42 both cores.

North/south etc are also sitting in the low 30's idle and high 30's load.
My 8800GTX *still on stock cooler* is now running 10c cooler in this UFO case.

I'm going to leave it to settle in a bit before i see if i can overclock the cpu a little more.

Things still to do.... get some 4pin to 3pin cables so i can wire the fans up to the Scythe Kama Meter, at the moment they are all 5v modded and are almost silent. Not bad for casecom fans!!
I'll probably only wire up half the fans to the fan controler, with temps like that there's really no need to have the fans going hell for leather!
I just want to add my ambient is pretty high tonight, well into the 20's. Mother's cold and has the heating on.

I only have poor pics on my 2mp camera phone since i couldnt wait to build and didnt have a digi camera handy. I did take some video too but it's a tad pathetic.
I will take some good high res pics once i do some cable tidying etc, and get some UV cathodes to react with the blood red coolant!!

Hey dude!!! Yeah its sweet as a nut like! more fan connections than I know what to do with!! One thing though.. I couldnt see a rear i/o plate cover. Did you forget to pack it or is it lost? So far things are looking good, as I say not tried an overclock really, just running it at what I was with my old DS3 for now till the AS5 settles in etc.
Edit, just updated your trust!

what you mean by plate cover? the piece of tin that all the connections poke through? if so well i thought they came with the pc case not the mobo and if they do iv never had one sorry. the one for my case evan got lost so i didnt us any. Seems like the stock watercooling on the mobo is good. it used to sit at 50 passive cooled.
