First World Problems: What's yours?

I do this, every time I try to load items straight into my backpack I require a weight check after every other item. It's more efficient just to scan everything through and then pack after I've paid.

I really meant more people using carrier bags - however I use a rucksack all the time in my local Tesco and Sainsbury in the self scan aisles. Before I start I press the "I brought my own bag" button and then it says to put the bag on the scale and then a cashier has to confirm it as it's about 0.5kg. Never had a problem scanning anything after this.

If your supermarket doesn't support that facility then it's probably more efficient for your fellow shoppers if you used a normal till rather than hold everyone else up. Either that or put everything in the supplied carrier bags then put them in your backpack after. :D

I keep finding myself in situation where my iPhone connects to wifi thats slower than 4G

What has the world come too that this actually grates me??

9000 is ridiculous. My family house is 3,500square feet (Approx 320sqm) on a few acres of land. 9000 must be a palace!

:o

Should read 9000 square feet...I'm no Saudi Prince lol

I had a few beverages last night :D

It's a 18th century chateau set in 25 hectares of fields and woodland. Got 6 horses that take 2 acres of grass. 12 dogs got another acre for their running area and 18 cats to wind the dogs up.

I'll need to spend 7 figures to get the place into a decent state though. Whole place needs rewiring. All the plasterboard covering the original walls needs replacing (walls are stones and mud). Top 3 floors need a new heating system. The whole place needs double glazing and insulating to stop me getting ridiculous energy bills.

TL;DR - Whole place needs gutting and renovating

On the plus side it has 2 pools :D but on the downside they cost a fair bit to run/maintain, so one will likely be removed at some point. There is a couple of ponds which could do with some TLC. I've been clearing them and will dredge them in the summer, then I'll look at adding some form of fish to them.

So much work lol not enough cash. Luckily around these parts I've made a name for myself with the cash rich ex pats so I can earn 300-400 a day depending on the job.

inb4 willy waving :p:D
